Robert Greene is my Favorite Author

The cookie cutter description of Robert Greene is a successful author, speaker, and strategist known for his best-selling books on strategy, power, and personal development. They mention that his books have been translated into more than 30 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.

In his own words he had failed so many times in different careers before he wrote “The 48 Laws of Power” in 1998. He would go on to write some of the most pre-eminent books in this area of psychology and human performance. He has also written several other successful books on topics such as strategy, power, and personal development.

Greene is successful because he has a unique perspective on strategy and power dynamics that resonates with readers. Behind The Laws of Human Nature, the 50th Law is my second favorite piece of work. The idea of fearlessness being the path to achievement is one of those fundamental truths that hits you right in the guts, but is a critical reminder. There are no short cuts. Greene’s work constantly reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Artist, Chuck Close:-
