Could Jack the Ripper have been protected by the Freemasons?

As a fan of true crime I am interested in the most popular cold case ever, Jack the Ripper. I have lost count of how many books I have read about the subject.

The particular story I am subscribed to has origins within the Jack the Ripper mystery. Perfect for a true crime fan like me. This has caused me to look even deeper into the case. What I have discovered is many links between the case and freemasonry.

There are several versions of what was written on the wall during the Whitechapel murders. Versions vary because the graffiti was removed before it was recorded or photographed. At the time the police said they removed the graffiti to stop widespread panic.

Juwes has been interpreted to mean many things including a bad spelling of Jews. The Jewish community having established itself in London, at the time.

This would further explain why much of the original documentation from the murder disappearing.

The murder weapon, a long thin blade, an inch in width and between 6–8 inches in length.
